We are comfortable using a variety of products to achieve whatever outcome you are seeking. We provide both on-site and off-site cabinet finishing.

Installation:

Whenever possible we prefer to install our own cabinets using our trained, professional installers. We occasionally subcontract our finish carpenters to other qualified firms. If you are in need of high quality finish work or cabinet installation, give us a call. At minimum we will be able to give you some direction if our crews are too busy to help.

Consultation:

If you have a challenging situation involving cabinets or casework and just need someone you can bounce some ideas off, give us a call. We believe strongly in the idea that helping others succeed is never a bad thing, whether you are a designer, a builder, or a fellow cabinet maker. Our only qualification is that you must be a kind human. If you not, call a therapist soon.

CNC Routing & Widebelt Sanding

What the hell is CNC?

CNC stands for computer numerical control and is a general term that applies to industrial machinery that is guided by computers. Our cnc router is something that allows us to cut and shape a wide variety of flat materials into just about anything imaginable and do it to a tolerance of 2/1000ths of an inch. That’s about 1/10 a human hair.

After designing the desired thing on our CAD software, we lay material on the bed of our cnc, press the green button and watch. From there we can produce one or one thousand objects of virtually any conceiveable shape or complexity. The computer tells the machine what to do. It has almost made us redundant. Almost. The thing will never understand a good joke however.

Who needs CNC routing services?

We outsource our CNC router services to other professional cabinet shops who want cabinet parts produced accurately and quickly. Builders will approach us on occasion for casework components and architectural elements, such as barrel vaults, coved ceiling ribs and bookcase parts. We have produced decorative brackets for designers. We once cut a giant sunflower into a piece of MDF for someone.

What does CNC routing cost...

The cost of using our CNC routing service depends on:

•The size, complexity and material or your order.

•The degree and complexity of the design and programming your project requires.

•Our relationship with you.

Almost without exception, CNC routing costs less than traditional manufacturing procedures, takes less time and is far more accurate.

What is wide belt sanding?

Imagine a 6000 pound sander that has more horsepower than a Pinto. Our TimeSaver wide belt sander allows us to sand surfaces as wide as 43 inches and as long as 20 feet. We use it primarily for sanding cabinet doors and face frames. We have used it for removing finish from a variety of large flat surfaces, such as a butcher block counter top. Builders, cabinet shops and woodworkers alike hire use to sand wide wood surfaces instead of paying someone to do it by hand with a belt sander. This machine will do in minutes what would take a person many hours and it will do it with stunning results. Please call us for current pricing and availability.
